Overview: /n/n Crown’s Beverage Division manufactures a variety of
packaging solutions for soft drinks, craft beers, coffees and teas
as well as new energy drinks. Crown Beverage leads the packaging

wide range of sizes, shapes and decorating options, our aluminum
cans are the perfect packaging format to create compelling brand
presence where it counts. /n/n Here at the Olympia Plant, we
currently manufacture 12 oz. beverage cans. /n/n /n/n Primary
Functions Include: /n/n This position is in the training program
and will be required to complete a 3,000-hour training program to
be fully qualified as a LSM Adjuster/Oven watcher. Extensive
on-the-job training (OJT) will be provided. Responsibilities
include: /n/n /n/t - /n/t Observe, maintain, adjust, clean, remove
cans and make minor repairs to automatic lacquer spraying machines
and related equipment as required to maintain standard quality and
quantity production on assigned equipment /n/t /n/t - /n/t
Start/stop lacquer room equipment, including pumps, vibrators,
exhaust fans, etc /n/t /n/t - /n/t Set up and adjust all spray room
equipment when necessary /n/t /n/t - /n/t Detect and remove
defective cans by visually examining production flow /n/t /n/t -
/n/t Remove all jams from assigned equipment /n/t /n/t - /n/t
Lubricate assigned equipment as required /n/t /n/t - /n/t Start up
and shut down ovens /n/t /n/t - /n/t Place lacquer waste materials
into proper containers /n/t /n/t - /n/t Maintain checklists,
lubrication lists or other related records as required /n/t /n/t -
/n/t Receive and offload tanker trucks /n/t /n/t - /n/t In addition
to performing maintenance duties, concurrently maintain and/or
operate equipment as assigned /n/t /n/t - /n/t This person will
have primary responsibility for safety in all areas of the assigned
duties /n/t /n /n/n /n/n SALARY: Starting wage $26.6123 progressing
every 1,000 hours up to 3,000 hours ending at a max of $28.7670 as
a fully trained LSM. /n/n Benefits: This is a union position and
includes a pension. /n/n As a new employee, you become eligible for
benefits under the Plan the 1st of the month following one full
month of employment and must enroll within 30 days of your
eligibility date to have coverage for the remainder of the current
Plan year (January 1 through December 31). Medical, dental, vision,
prescription and 401k. *Actual salary will be determined based on
skill and experience level* /n/t - Minimum 18 years old /n/t - High
School diploma or G.E.D preferred /n/t - Minimum six (6) months’
work experience in a manufacturing company is highly desirable /n/t
- Must possess basic math skills /n/t - Mechanical experience
working in a manufacturing setting will be desirable /n/t - Must be
able to comply with all OSHA and WISHA safety rules and regulations
/n/t - Must be able to stand for long periods as well as climbing
stairs and working on elevated stationary platforms and withstand
extreme climate changes especially during summer months /n/t -
Demonstrated strong attention to detail, good record keeping and
precision abilities is highly desirable /n/t - Ability to work
under time pressures and flexibility to adjust to sudden work
patterns or schedules /n/t - Ability to work independently and with
teams. Must have good interpersonal skills /n/t - Must be able to
work 12-hour shifts, evenings, weekends, and overtime as business
needs dictate /n/t - This position requires union membership after
30 days of hire /n /n/n
