Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid) Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2
days remote) Type: 9-month contract Compensation: $45-$55/hour
(DOE) Job Summary Our client is seeking an experienced Senior
Corporate Accountant to support corporate accounting functions with
a strong focus on general ledger, month-end close, and financial
reporting. This role is ideal for a hands-on accountant who is
comfortable operating in a corporate environment, partnering
cross-functionally, and ensuring accurate and timely financial
results. CPA is not required. Key Responsibilities Support and
execute month-end and quarter-end close processes Prepare and
review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting
schedules Maintain accuracy of the general ledger in accordance
with GAAP Assist with preparation of internal and external
financial reports Perform balance sheet and income statement
analysis; investigate and resolve variances Support audits by
preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests Partner with
FP&A, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure data
accuracy Assist with process improvements, documentation, and
internal controls Support ad hoc accounting projects and
initiatives as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance, or related field 5-8 years of corporate or
general ledger accounting experience CPA not required Strong
knowledge of GAAP and corporate accounting principles Hands-on
experience with month-end close and reconciliations Experience with
ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar preferred) Advanced
Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) Strong
attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Excellent
communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Nice to
Have Experience in a publicly traded or multi-entity corporate
environment Prior contract or project-based accounting experience
Exposure to system implementations or accounting process
