long-term initiative to design, launch and maintain a constellation
of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide low-latency, high-speed
broadband connectivity to unserved communities around the world?
It’s Day 1 for Amazon’s next billion dollar business and we are
looking for an entrepreneurial minded Finance Manager to work in a
start-up environment who is passionate about technology,
manufacturing and FP&A, who thinks/acts globally, and has the
ability to create and implement solutions, processes and controls.
Amazon Leo seeks a Finance Manager to support its Manufacturing
team. This position will partner with Manufacturing business
leaders to develop key financial processes, support automation
initiatives, and help identify business efficiencies. The
successful candidate will need to be strategic, analytical, and
have the demonstrated ability to work effectively with
cross-functional teams. A typical day in this role provides an
opportunity to improve and create new measures for business
effectiveness, innovate creative solutions utilizing large scale
data mining tools, and identify high priority projects to maximize
results for key stakeholders. Key job responsibilities - Create
effective business partnerships with Manufacturing leadership team.
- Develop financial models for new business concepts and analyze
resulting financial impacts to drive data-driven decision making;
provide investment guidance based on data analysis. - Manage long
and short-range manufacturing budgets (OP1/OP2), forecasts, and
implement cost control measures. - Develop financial forecasts for
headcount, operating expenses and capital for base business
activities, collaborating with manufacturing leadership on key
initiatives. - Manage publication of monthly financial results,
developing financial narratives for finance and manufacturing
leadership on key expense and capital drivers. - Analyze
manufacturing trends and KPIs, transforming them into actionable
insights for manufacturing operations; prepare ad hoc analysis. -
Lead automation efforts of critical processes e.g. manufacturing
KPI dashboards; proactively improve, scale, or simplify finance
tools across teams and organizations. - Effectively manage
competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. -
Participate in Finance initiatives, including but not limited to
process improvements, ad hoc analyses, and preparation of periodic
reporting activities. - Ensure compliance with financial
regulations and internal policies relevant to manufacturing
finance. - Contribute to work-life harmony by being a positive,
collaborative, and effective influencer to new team members,
demonstrating operational excellence. - 5 years of tax, finance or
a related analytical field experience - Bachelor's degree in
finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical
field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) - Experience
building and managing financial models for business forecasting and
problem solving - Experience delivering results for large,
cross-functional initiatives/projects - Experience in creating
process improvements with automation and analysis - Export Control
Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations,

Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools
(examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
