  • Employment type Full-Time Do you want to define the story of a consumer-facing experience for Microsoft?-- The Modern Life Product Marketing Management (PMM) team is responsible for delivering compelling consumer -facing products and services , driven by real user need s, to improve the daily lives of consumers and their families. The Microsoft 365 Consumer, Edge + Bing Marketing team defines the consumer vision, product management, business plans, and go-to-market strategy for the key product areas of M365 Consumer, Edge, and Bing. To drive business growth and engagement with consumer, we must make smart bets on how to optimize, manage, and augment our portfolio of products and underlying capabilities.-- The M365 Consumer PMM team is looking for an exceptional product management leader to help drive positive product impact and growth for a new product we are launching within M365 Consumer . I n this role you will be a key thought leader as we work to light up a new product area for Microsoft. The person for this role must be curious, data-driven, and analytical. It's critica l to understand what's driving consumer behavior and marketplace dynamics to lead the planning to drive growth and subscriptions to M365. Strong storytelling abilities are also important, to help communicate the vision, value prop, and product truth across internal and external audiences. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the heart of Microsoft's core ambitions with talented colleagues across marketing, engineering, and design.-- Responsibilities
    • Identifying and driving areas of product growth for this new opportunity within M365 Consumer
    • Identifying and prioritizing articulated and unarticulated needs of our customers, partnering deeply with our market research and data and analytics teams, as well as other customer listening systems.--
    • Defining the value proposition for our offer and prioritizing the product feature set to drive the most impactful package to deliver on our business goals.--
    • Understanding market trends and developing competitive positioning.--
    • Define the narrative, strategy, and messaging with the consumer Go-To-Market (GTM) team.
    • Define and direct product success criteria, both overarching OKRs and Leading Metrics such as product health, adoption, and satisfaction Qualifications
      • 8 + years work experience in business roles such as product management/product marketing in consume r technology pro ducts is required
      • 8 + years working with data and deriving insights
      • Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical skills and problem identification / resolution skills.
      • Strong customer empathy; human-centered design experience & mindset
      • Proven a bility to work collaboratively with a broad set of internal and external stakeholders , including senior leadership , to drive complex projects to successful conclusion
      • Self-motivated and comfortable defining your own objectives and priorities--
