DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:


  • Responsible for the development and execution of consumer promotion programs and strategic marketing partnerships for Nintendo brands
  • Leads strategic outreach efforts, including pitching and negotiations, for assigned programs
  • Identifies targeted brands to engage and unlock opportunities to promote key Nintendo IP, hardware, and software
  • Leads efforts to prospect (cold calling/pitching), negotiate, and close partnerships that deliver significant marketing exposure, key brand messaging, and brand alignment/synergy
  • Provides input and shares opinions to help management evaluate and respond to external brand partnership proposals
  • Formulates and coordinates project deliverables related to final partnership proposals to senior management for approvals based on marketing exposure, brand story and ROI
  • Leads ideation, planning, and top-to-bottom execution on national partnership activities and brand integrations
  • Works with Legal department on contracts, legal searches, and trade marking
  • Coordinates the approval and use of brand assets with internal Design, Consumer Marketing, and Product Marketing teams
  • Works closely with Communications, Experiential Marketing, and other teams to develop promotional collateral
  • Tracks and contributes to the creation of communication updates on promotional activity including status reporting, internal communication, and ROI analysis/post-mortems
  • Acts as back-up for direct manager or other leads, as needed, in various cross-functional team meetings



    SUMMARY OR REQUIREMENTS:


    • Four or more years of experience in agency or corporate marketing, business development, or related/transferable consumer marketing experience
    • Proven record of leading and resolving complex business negotiations with positive results
    • Proven record of coordinating efforts for successful fully-integrated national brand partnerships and consumer promotions with significant market/consumer impact
    • Effective communication skills: ability to ask probing questions, listening to learn, and reading/adjusting communication approach based on the audience and situation
    • Critical thinker able to identify action items and interdependencies
    • Proven ability to understand promotional strategies and tactics to ensure feasibility of core ideas
    • Ability to manage details, competing priorities, and work both independently as well as in cross-functional team dynamic
    • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience




      This is a remote eligible position and can be based in the following markets: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, Minneapolis, New York.

      This contract position has a base pay range of $40 - $50 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits may include medical, dental and vision, 401(k), basic/supplemental life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, health and dependent care spending accounts, transportation benefits, employee assistance program, paid sick leave, and up to 6 paid holidays per year. All benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms. Benefits offerings will be confirmed at the time of offer by the employing agency, and may differ depending on the employing agency partner.
