    • BSME required
    • 3+ years of professional hands-on electro-mechanical or mechanical design experience with increasing design/project responsibility
    • Experience in consumer electronics or medical devices industries
    • Proficiency with general ME CAD tools: SolidWorks, NX, Pro/E, CoCreate or Creo, N.X. preferred
    • Understanding of basic mechanics and machine design
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements
    • Up to 25% travel may be required between locations
    • Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
      • Experience with plastic injection moldings (10+ parts designed) and knowledge of high-volume manufacturing techniques (Stamping, machining, 3D printing, injection molding, etc.)
      • Experience with MCAD/ECAD exchange for PCBAs/FPCs
      • Experience working with electrical engineers to define connector locations, shielding, mounting, etc., for PCBAs
      • Industrial level of working knowledge in material properties, such as plastics, metal, adhesive, glass, PCBA, flex circuit, etc.
      • Knowledge & application of GD&T techniques and knowledge of associated metrology approaches
      • Expertise working with overseas vendors, including but not limited to communication, DFMs, schedules, tooling issues, and some night calls
      • Testing and analysis experience (FEA, Simulation, etc.)
      • Design for manufacture and assembly experience
      • Root cause analysis
      • Proficiency in presenting engineering designs, proposals, and reports
      • Six Sigma experience (Green Belt or Black Belt)
      • Experience delivering multiple successful consumer products to production from concept inception to shipping product
      • Design for manufacture and assembly experience
      • Experience with design of experiments (DOE)
