DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

• 
  
• Work with Software Engineers and Technology Manager to create/update technical support documentation/runbooks
  
• Triage support requests and bug reports, including prioritization, duplicate management, and clarifying/augmenting user-submitted reports (with additional information)
  
• Monitor systems health and error statuses, and escalates appropriately
  
• Performs basic troubleshooting, and conducts informal training as needed to educate users about recurring problems
  
• Works with stakeholders to ensure optimal use of responsible systems
  
• Ensures interactions with customers are positive, productive, documented, and resolved in a timely manner or followed through on
  
• Provides testing support for newly developed language-related tools
  
  
  
  SUMMARY OR REQUIREMENTS
  
  
  • 
    
  • Requires 3+ years of related experience
    
  • Experience with memoQ or other computer-aided translation (CAT) tools highly preferred
    
  • Foundational understanding of coding, Windows, Linux, SQL queries, and bug-reporting best practices
    
  • Solid understanding of technology principles and operating methods
    
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

    This contract position has a base pay range of $40 - $70 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits may include medical, dental and vision, 401(k), basic/supplemental life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, health and dependent care spending accounts, transportation benefits, employee assistance program, paid sick leave, and up to 6 paid holidays per year.
