an Integration & Test Engineer (Associate, Experienced) to join our
team in Kent, WA.This exciting software engineering position will
work within the Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems (SIWS)
team for their Satellite Division in Kent, WA and will work on
existing and emerging programs. A successful candidate is
passionate about space and excited to work in a multi-disciplined,
collaborative engineering environment to integrate and test
software for a new fleet of Boeing satellites.Our teams are
currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including
Associate and Experienced level Software Engineers.Position
Responsibilities Include:
- Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements,
algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
- Integrates software components into a fully functional software
system
- Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test
environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test
results to ensure software system requirements are met
- Develops, selects, tailors and deploys software processes,
tools and metrics
- Works under general directionThis position is expected to be
100% onsite.-- The selected candidate will be required to work
onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires
the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S.
Government requires U.S. Citizenship.-- An interim and/or final
U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic
Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science,
mathematics, physics or chemistry
- 1+ years' software development experience with one of the
following modern computer language, including: C/C++, Java, .Net,
Python.--
- 1+ years of direct experience designing and developing software
for a real time or non-real-time system
- 1+ years' experience Software Testing or Software
VerificationPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent
combination of education and experience
- Hands-on experience with Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, TCL,
XML.--
- Experience with avionics control algorithms, search algorithms
and math libraries, telemetry and command handling.--
- Hands-on experience with hardware interfaces, embedded
processor architectures, I/O device drivers and board support
packages.--
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship
Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the
past 24 months is considered active)-----Typical
Education/Experience:Associate (Level 2)Bachelor's degree and
typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering
classification or a Master's degree with experience in an
engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of
Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the
preferred, although not required, accreditation
standard.Experienced (Level 3)Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or
more years' experience in an engineering classification or a
Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an
engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an
engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of
Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the
preferred, although not required, accreditation
standard.Relocation:This position offers relocation based on
