Lumotive is seeking a Senior Analog Layout Engineer to develop
custom layout of LCM Beam Steering Mixed signal ASIC macros. The
ideal candidate will lead all aspects of analog custom layout by
collaborating with analog design team. The candidate will be
responsible for all mixed signal layout of macros and interaction
with P&R team to get analog macro integrated into overall
digital P&R flow. The position requires a seasoned and
self-motivated hands-on layout designer with a thorough,
detail-oriented approach to layout, who thrives in a
multi-disciplinary and fast-paced environment. Roles &
Responsibilities: Proven experience in layout design of advance
display drivers and other analog and mixed signal macros in High
voltage process technology.Highly experienced in implementing
analog layouts for very high-count data converters, analog blocks,
resistors, pad IO, ESD structures to achieve tight matching, low
noise, and area optimized layout.High level of proficiency in
planning and implementing block-level floorplan, power distribution
network, clock and signal routing, analog and mixed signal
transistor level layout.Extensive experience in DRC, LVS and other
physical verification tools from leading vendors.Excellent
understanding of LVS, DRC and ERC reports to address issues and
converge fast on layout closure.Scripting skills in Python, PERL or
SKILL will be preferred.Ability to Learn and ramp on new tools and
methodologies.Ability to estimate layout schedule for a given
circuit, layout planning and provide early feedback to circuit
design engineers etc.Ability to work with circuit designers that
are located remotely which requires documentation skills and
communication skills.
Key Qualifications: BS in Electrical Engineering and at least 10
years of hands-on layout design experience.Experience in layout of
display drivers and PLLs in High voltage process.Good understanding
of clock routing and shielding.Good understanding of analog and
mixed signal layout fundamentals, IR, EM, self and coupling
capacitances and RC delay.Excellent communication and team player.
Location: This role can be based out of San Jose, CA, Redmond, WA
or Vancouver BC, Canada. Education & Experience Bachelor of Science
in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of experience preferred.
Pay range estimate $ 130,000 to $150,000 + Bonus +Equity Benefits
