and Position Overview: Snow & Company is seeking a skilled
Maintenance Mechanic to join our team! We are looking for positive,

Responsibilities: · Maintain, repair, and monitor forklifts,
service trucks, cranes, trailers, and yard equipment · Requisition
parts, tools, and materials as needed · Ensure proper company
marking/labeling and identification on items and storage locations
· Keep all materials for maintenance organized · Work with
procurement and the tool room to receive unpack and store incoming
parts and equipment · Repair, service, set, and lubricate all
machines and equipment · Maintain work area in a clean and orderly
fashion · Make recommendations of disposal and elimination of
damaged, obsolete, or unused machines and equipment Essential
Skills: · Must have a strong familiarity with tools and parts ·
Must have ability to do equipment and machine repairs · Well
organized with attention to detail · Proficient use of email and
basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel · Effective communication
skills · Punctual with high attendance rate · Must be willing and
able to support a safe work environment · Works well independently
and as a team · Basic electrical understanding and skills · Ability
to operate a forklift Physical and Environmental Demands: The work
environment is a dynamic, fast-paced shipyard with moderate to loud
noise levels due to ongoing production activities. Job duties are
performed in production areas and onboard vessels and require: ·
The ability to walk to and from job sites, climb inclined
stairways, and use vertical ladders · Frequent bending, squatting,
crawling, twisting, standing, walking, sitting, and use of
hands/fingers for various tasks · Occasional reaching, climbing,
balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling · Frequent lifting of
up to 20 lbs., with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. · The
ability to work in extreme temperatures and conditions, including
areas with limited ventilation · The ability to enter and work in
confined spaces, such as manholes · The ability to work at heights
· Frequent use of a respirator · Wearing required safety gear,
including a hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, and protective
clothing · Regular exposure to noise from machinery and equipment
Pay and Benefits: · $27 - $35 / hour · Full time, overtime
