invite you to learn more!Summary:The Director of Operational
Excellence reports to the VP of Global Operations and partners with
the Director of Operations to work with stakeholders to develop our
Continuous Improvement activities into a structured program of
Operational Excellence to be implemented into all manufacturing
sites. The OE Director will collaborate with the Operations team to
direct efforts to create a transformative, comprehensive and
self-sustaining OE system that will deliver improved operational
performance in the areas of safety, quality, utilization, scrap and
speeds. The OE Director will help implement the culture to embrace
new practices, a process mindset and encourage best practice
sharing across facilities that results in empowered employees. This
position will have responsibility over three key areas that
together form the Operational Excellence group: Continuous
Improvement, Process Engineering and Learning & Development
Curriculum.Responsibilities:Partner with manufacturing leadership
teams to create success by developing and defining a CI operating
model and launching an operational excellence program across all
manufacturing sites.Lead the teams of Continuous Improvement,
Process Engineering and Learning & Development.Manage continued
implementation of lean manufacturing activities including
establishment of standards, employee training curriculum, and the
Tier Board process.Partner with the US Director of Operations on
establishment of operations performance metrics.Create and manage
Hoshin Strategy Deployment process for Operations
team.Organizational change agent responsible for delivering
performance excellence through execution of continuous improvement
initiatives.Coach senior management in the application of lean and
continuous improvement methodologies.Lead the L&D team in
partnering with Operations to create training curriculum for
Direct/Indirect labor workforce that is inculcated into CI
development process to support and sustain standard operating
procedures.Lead the development and execution of Autonomous Work
Cells Structure into each site.Lead, coach and mentor Process
Engineering team to identify and exploit process engineering
opportunities that result is significant improvements and
incorporate these into our L&D curriculum.Qualifications:Strong
understanding of Operational Excellence, lean principles,
statistics and data analysis.Proficient in applying DMAIC or PDCA
continuous improvement methodologies.Thrives in environment of
diverse projects and expanding role into other functional
areas.Strong analytical skills to assess new projects for strategic
fitDemonstrated continuous improvement mindsetDemonstrated success
leading cross functional teams and associated communication skills
to influence othersAction oriented with a strong sense of urgency
and ability to prioritize and adaptLeadership and coaching skills
necessary to attract, develop and retain outstanding
talent.Education and/or Experience10+ years'' experience in
Production Management.Six Sigma and/or Lean certification a
plusHigh School Diploma required, Bachelor''s Degree in business,
engineering, or other related discipline desired.Language
SkillsMust be capable of speaking, reading, and writing English
with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Spanish
and Malay skills preferred.Ability to write reports, business
correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively
present information and respond to questions from groups of
executives, managers, clients, customers, and the general
public.Mathematical SkillsThe position must be capable of
performing all types of business related mathematics.Reasoning
AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety
of concrete variables in situations where only limited
standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of
instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule
form.Computer SkillsMust be computer literate and efficient in the
use of Microsoft Office programsPhysical Demands The physical
