We are looking for a Technical Program Manager, located in Redmond, WA. In this role, you will partner with a cross-functional team - from hardware to end-customer experiences - to drive technology development and execution of our next generation Opto-Mechanical components and assemblies. The--Technical Program Manager is a talented, capable engineer and comfortable working in highly confidential environments. Our products require deeply integrated and miniaturized solutions in our display core technology to unlock new capabilities in next generation form factors. You will create clarity for these teams and in this area of the program, drive integration of these assemblies into the products we deliver. Responsibilities
    • Drive new technology development efforts internally and externally in service of the needs of the overall Mixed Reality product roadmap.
    • Contribute to data driven design and evolve our engineering processes for efficiency and proactive development.
    • Partner cross-functionally with your team across the Mixed Reality Devices and Technology organization to drive and deliver globally optimal solutions in our sub-system and product designs.
    • Manage vendor relationships for component sourcing and assembly, inclusive of meetings, budgets, sourcing, component/module deliveries and quality control.
    • Communicate with precision and clarity to drive alignment in both small and broad teams. Qualifications Required:
      • 3+ years of Program Management, Product Management and/or Project Management experience.
      • A high tolerance for ambiguity and change; a drive for concrete actions and outcomes through active engagement and collaborations.
      • This position will require access to information controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the successful candidate must be a "U.S. person" : a natural person (a) who is a lawful permanent resident as defined in 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20); or (b) who is a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3); or (c) is subject to an approved license by the applicable government agency.
      • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:-- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred:
        • Previous experience in optical, mechanical and/or opto-mechanical systems.
        • Self-driven, open-minded with a strong growth mindset
        • Excellent written and verbal collaboration and communication skills.
        • Excellent design and problem-solving skills.
        • B.S./M.S. in Optical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
