Job Description:
incubating and managing projects from conception and inception
through to productization. The team is dedicated to working with
the industry and community open sourcing many of our projects. The
role includes significant open-source community engagement,
including project launches, facilitation of community
contributions, and producing sample/example applications of
incubated technologies.The ideal candidate will have a passion for
improving the state of the art in building and deploying
applications. Strong analytical, interpersonal and written skills
are required, as this candidate must be able to build bridges
between groups, providing strong team, community, and industry
leadership, including setting strategy. The candidate must be
"hands on" with developer technologies including different
programming languages and frameworks, along with an understanding
of how to design enterprise scale services using microservice
architectures and cloud native technologies. In this role you will
work with customers to understand practical problems facing
developers today, including working with data scientists, and solve
those problems by building the next generation of application
deployment technology.Basic Qualifications: * 5+ years of software
development and DevOps experience, preferably specializing in
distributed computing.* 3+ years of technical program management
experience with cross-organizational impact.* Enterprise-level,
hands on experience building and prototyping with various program
languages and frameworks* Technical problem solving in
collaboration with engineering teams* Experience with analyzing
problems, authoring and producing technical and strategy
whitepapers and presentations.Preferred Qualifications: * Excellent
communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.*
Experience with non-Microsoft platforms and technologies.*
Familiarity with open source software systems and methodologies. *
Experience with AI/ML technologies a strong plus.
