A little more on the specific responsibilities: Voice of Customer (75% of role):
    • Leverage the Microsoft listening mechanisms to be the custodian of translating the Voice of Customer into the SMB Narrative and how it's communicated across high impact channels.
    • Synthesize and develop deep audience understanding.
    • Construct audience and individual customer journeys across the SMB sub-segments to ground key stakeholders on the SMB Archetypes.
    • Partner closely with our global demand center to bring audience empathy and depth to complete integrated marketing plans and digital journeys.
    • Work closely with product marketing to close the loop on content architecture, feedback on results and tuning for success.
    • Work with the SMC Communications director to define a clear SMB Social Narrative and strategy
    • Formulate internal and external communications strategy that supports the organization's needs and translates strategy into plan that leverages mix of communications tactics. Partnerships (25% of role): Drive New Business Opportunities:--Lead partnership efforts to create compelling new relevant Microsoft-based SMB offerings and go-to-market initiatives. Must have the ability to:
      • Drive key strategy projects and orchestrate workstreams across the business;--own overall efforts, including project plans, recommendations, impact, and driving alignment between leaders and commitment to deliver between individual product organizations
      • Assess market dynamics, recognize and quantify future opportunities through a comprehensive business case, and insightfully follow competition. Internal Owner:--Be the primary interface between the SMB Team and the appropriate Microsoft field stakeholders. Structure and execute the mutually agreed alliance governance and executive connections between Microsoft and the Partnership organization. Must have the ability to quickly respond to senior stakeholder and/or market input, and effectively communicate on regular basis to Microsoft and partnership executive leadership teams on the health, performance, and direction of the partnership. Field Enablement and Sales Leadership:--Overall responsibility for SMB field enablement and sales performance derived from the Partnerships. Develop and socialize strategic plans, drive initiatives and support sales motions, and enable sales acceleration, deal closure, and Cloud consumption. Must build deep relationships with the key Microsoft stakeholders, Engineering, Business Development, and relevant partner stakeholders. The successful candidate will be passionate leader and have strong knowledge about Small and Medium Business customers, through-partner sales motions, industry trends and cloud technologies. This position will require a high degree of executive engagement within Corporate and the Field. This role is unique in that it combines strategic thinking, business development, partner alliance management, and Microsoft field coaching. The role will report to the WW SMB Segment Lead.-- Qualifications Experiences Required / minimum qualifications:
        • 8+ years of experience in management consulting, business marketing, corporate strategy, strategic consulting, business planning, and/or equivalent experience (e.g., scaling a business, driving change in a large company)
        • 2+ years' demonstrated program or project management, leadership, and cross-group collaboration skills
        • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to formulate and deliver insights around complex business problems in a thoughtful and persuasive manner throughout all levels of the organization Additional or preferred qualifications:
          • Master's degree in Business Administration/related field or equivalent work experience
          • 2+ years experience and knowledge in Small and Medium business operations
          • Desire to operate at the intersection of technology and business, spearheading organizational, operational, and technological change
          • Demonstrated hypothesis-driven,--problem-solving orientation with ability to leverage both quantitative and qualitative analyses to drive decision making
          • Exceptionally strong personal initiative, good business instincts, and comfort with ambiguity--
          • Deep understanding of software and business technology markets, trends, and dynamics--
          • Demonstrated ability to excel in an innovative, startup-like, fast-paced environment, with rapid exploration and ability to execute Ability to manage multiple simultaneous high-priority projects (often including project management of cross-functional v-teams).-- Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
