We are seeking a Senior Market Research professional with strong communication, consultation, and analytics skills to join our Research + Insights team. This role is responsible for delivering high-impact, actionable insights to the Modern Work Marketing teams focused on two key growth customer segments: Small- and Medium-sized Businesses (SMB) and Firstline Workers. About this role: This role centers on delivering insights that help ensure product and marketing strategies are based on customer obsession. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, cross-organizational leadership, creative problem-solving skills, and an ability to translate business questions into an analytical approach. Leveraging a range of approaches and information sources such as quantitative and qualitative market research, analyst reports, social media data, and customer conversations are essential to success. The ability to collaborate and influence across teams are also core to this role. In this role, you will partner with the Modern Work Marketing teams to deliver insights about two of their key target audiences: Small- and Medium-Businesses (SMB, inclusive of Microsoft Partners who focus on the SMB segment) and Firstline Workers (employees whose primary function is to work directly with customers or the public). If you love to understand customers and their needs, impact marketing strategy, and be part of a growing business, this is the role for you! An ideal candidate will bring a mix of market research, business analytics, consulting, and project management skills. They will also have a passion for injecting the customer's voice into business decisions. Required * At least seven years of market research, business consulting or data analysis experience * Experience designing research, analyzing data, or synthesizing multiple sources (e.g., survey, qualitative, business metrics, analyst reports) to address business questions * Excellent written, verbal, and visual storytelling skills * Strong collaboration skills both within and across groups * Strong project management and organizational skills * Advanced critical thinking and problem solving * Highly proficient with Excel and PowerPoint * Growth mindset and a desire to make an impact Preferred * Experience managing marketing research vendors * Experience with Small- and Medium-Sized Business and Firstline Worker audiences * Contribute to a culture of diversity and inclusion If you don't think you meet all the criteria, but still are interested in the job, please apply.
