About MCAPS & TrIP: The MCAPS (Microsoft Customer & Partner Solutions) organization unifies the commercial go to market organization to accelerate our progress, stay true to the Microsoft mission, and empower our customers, partners, people, and Microsoft's growth. Within MCAPS, TrIP (Trust Integrity & Protection) defines processes for customers' data protection including privacy, security, governance, risk, and compliance solutions, and provides guidance and oversight across the MCAPS division. About the role - Senior Program Manager, Apps & Services Compliance The TrIP team is looking for a business first, compliance minded Senior Program Manager. TrIP is on a mission to earn customer trust and reduce risk by relentlessly protecting data and operational integrity across MCAPS, globally. This role is critical to deploy security compliance across a suite of internally developed applications and services. You will be expected to have strong program management skills, compliance fluency, deep understanding of the business' technical infrastructure and dependencies, and an ability to drive results with both business and development teams, as well as an instinct for and appreciation of the needs of business and development stakeholders. You will be accountable for orchestrating compliance remediation efforts across a diverse set of development teams and citizen developers. You will manage multiple efforts and timelines simultaneously, while building and strengthening the relationship with these development communities. You must have a high degree of comfort with ambiguity while still delivering results. Our team values cross-team communications & collaboration, and diverse perspectives to build better solutions. * 4+ years of technical program management experience in fast-paced, results driven culture * 2+ years of experience working with software development teams on security, privacy, or data protection compliance-related activities * Ability to rapidly gain/build trust and confidence of internal and external stakeholders * Leadership through Influence; ability to drive clarity and alignment across stakeholders to a common objective and define execution priorities against those objectives * Proven ability to orchestrate activities and problem solve across multiple stakeholder teams, leading others in delivery of a solution --- Comfort with a constantly evolving and sometimes ambiguous landscape; commitment to flexibility and an ability to operate with minimal direction --- Clear, concise, and convincing communications - written, oral and presentation * Relevant Bachelor's degree or experience commensurate with job expectations Location/Travel: You may be based anywhere in the United States with flexibility around working hours to align with all U.S. time zones. The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $113,900 and $171,500. At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role. Benefits/perks listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Microsoft and the country where you work. * Develop plans and program manage the deployment of security compliance remediations at scale for internally developed applications and services. * Forge strong relationships with engineering and business application developer communities as a compliance liaison, increasing awareness of security, privacy, and data protection compliance obligations. * Engage with engineering and business application developers to negotiate prioritization of security remediations, work thru technical dependencies and manage exception requests, while constantly driving for results. * Establish reporting needs, KPIs, metrics and work with Reporting team to publish scorecards via PowerBI and other reports for the program. * Collaborate with internal teams to drive delivery excellence for this program (status, risks, issues, reporting, comms, etc.) * Build out communication, change management and landing plans to drive program excellence, including for executive audiences. * Drive the identification and prioritization of opportunities for improvement across processes or services. Evangelizes proposed changes across groups.
