Job Summary
Responsible to oversee the recruitment, training and engagement of
the People who create unforgettable guest experiences. The ideal
candidate will be an experienced and dynamic Human Resources
professional. They will be both a subject matter expert and a
strategic Human Resources business partner - able to influence at
all levels of the business.
The Human Resources Manager of People Services is directly
responsible for managing and leading the People Services Team. This
includes HR Administrator(s) and HR Business Partner(s).
Key Responsibilities:
Act, collaborate and represent Human Resources in partnership with
company leadership to build strong networking and alignment of
departments.
Work with Operations Leadership toward company goals of increasing
work productivity, work culture and engagement.
Collaborate and partner with all employee relations concerns -
Reporting to the Human Resources Director.
Establish clear communication channels for both regular
communications and company-wide announcements.
Use high emotional intelligence and responsiveness for all general
inquiries and provide guidance in resolving issues.
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes,
and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and
employment law.
Onboard new hires to include coordination and communication with
candidates, various departments, recruitment and hiring
managers.
Collaborate with departmental managers and leaders to assess needs,
provide formal and informal training on the associate life cycle,
and partner on difficult associate situations.
Manage and monitor annual Performance Review process.
Conduct employee investigations and oversees the progressive
discipline process.
Establish and document training procedures for all employees on
compliance aspects: harassment, safety, Covid regulations, code of
conduct and handbook.
Establish all federal and state applicable laws within the
workplace as well as Leave of Absences for employees.
Ensure regulatory compliance with legal requirements pertinent to
the day-to-day management of employees; collaborate with the legal
department when necessary.
Ensure all associate information is accurate and up to date within
the location HRIS system.
Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with policies and
procedures.
Ensure compliance with EEOC and any or all diversity and inclusion
laws.
Research and lead special projects as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
PHR or SPHR designation is strongly preferred.
2+ years of management experience preferred
Experience in a Human Resources role is preferred
Experience leading remote teams is preferred
Experience managing large scale projects
High level of computer literacy
Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
