Responsible for all Project Management accountabilities and responsible to support client and CBRE management team in managing all aspects of service providers performance. This position will focus on Microsoft real estate Project Management delivery in the Puget Sound Region to manage the projects in the real estate portfolio and develop strong relationships within Microsoft s corporate Global Workplace Services group. This role is highly collaborative and will partner with client, Tier 1service providers and other delivery stakeholders to drive execution on approved real estate project pipelines and project business programs and strategies.Performs additional job duties as requested.Required Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesExcellent program management and organizational skills with the ability to aggregate and translate data into actionable information besides drive decision making within a dynamic corporate environment.In-depth understanding of contractual obligations and requirements. Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Reviews complex financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates. Ability to analyse the complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions. Approves and oversees regional budget.Understanding of Microsoft RE&F organization, functional service lines and key contacts a plus.Working knowledge of CBRE GWS platforms and resources and all functional service lines a plus.Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships at multiple levels within Microsoft, with business partners; and with CBRE. Have a proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service and possess effective communication and presentation skills in multiple media and settings.Ability and desire to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic organization and to change directions and reprioritize in response to fluctuating work environment and demand. Ability to work successfully in an environment that reflects and supports diverse work styles.Experience in leading large capital programs that include tenant improvement, lifecycle renewal, asset management, technical lab space and ground up office construction.Understanding and proven track record of the real estate development process, permitting, governmental entitlements for large ground up projects.Willingness and ability to travel on a regular basis regionally and occasionally globally.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiar with MS CAFM tools desirable.Education and ExperienceBachelor s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in related field and a minimum of eight years of experience in corporate real estate strategy. Alternatively, 12+ years in related real estate planning experience, for candidates not having four-year college degree.3-5+ years managing in cross functional, multi-company organizations as a consultant or corporate manager with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others. Strong understanding of industry and demonstrates knowledge/capabilities in the areas of project management, business administration, asset management, property management and/or facility management, leasing, disposition, and construction.Desired Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesCommunication SkillsAbility to comprehend, analyse and interpret complex business documents. Key focus areas include scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk management.Develops new business growth and maintains existing business relationships. Responsible for business pursuits, integration with other CBRE business lines, and cross-selling our CBRE business in the assigned geographic market, program or client account to achieve the company's strategic business objectives.Exhibits a complete understanding of CB Richard Ellis' corporate governance policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring corporate governance policies and procedures are adhered to within work group.Responsible for accurate, timely, and compliant contract procurement, contract negotiation, contract execution, contract administration, and closeout. Contracts included Client/CBRE agreements, Client/Vendor agreements, CBRE/Vendor agreements, and Supplier agreements. Monitors adherence to policies and procedures regarding internal governance and controls.Demonstrates ability to identify complex project risks, lead constructability reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks for client and company.Responsible for strategic direction and strategic planning for project management service line in Puget Sound.Oversees the preparation of accurate, timely, and complete reports to the client and CBRE.Participates in civic and business organizations. Conducts and maintains relationships with industry and trade associates, vendors, and professional organizations.Other duties as assigned.
