Microsoft Cloud Hardware Infrastructure Engineering (CHIE) is
the team behind Microsoft's expanding Cloud Infrastructure and
responsible for powering Microsoft's "Intelligent Cloud" mission.
CHIE delivers the core infrastructure and foundational technologies
for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN,
Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure
platform globally with our server and data center infrastructure,
security and compliance, operations, globalization, and
manageability solutions. -Our focus is on smart growth, high

business continues to grow the ability to deploy new offerings and
HW infrastructure on time, in high volume with high quality and
lowest cost is of paramount importance. To achieve this goal, the
Cloud Hardware Manufacturing Engineering (CHME) team is
instrumental in defining and delivering operational measures of
success for hardware manufacturing, improving the planning process,
quality, delivery, scale and sustainability related to Microsoft
cloud hardware. We are looking for seasoned leader with a strong
passion for customer focused solutions, insight and industry
knowledge to envision and implement future technical solutions that
will manage and optimize the Cloud infrastructure.We are looking
for a Principal Quality Engineering Manager -to join the team. -
-#azhwjobs - -ResponsibilitiesLead the team or task forces to drive
the server quality across design, manufacturing, data center
deployment and sustaining phase.Hands on leader who can drive the
complex technical solutions across hardware and software/firmware
organization to improve product quality.Provide the leadership for
implementing the early detection and prevent the issues escape into
the Microsoft datacenters.Capable of leading the technical deep
dives into failure analysis methodologies, system or component test
failure reproduction strategies, test code or fault isolation
content or test suites.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:BS
degree in Materials Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering,
or equivalent industry experience.10+ years of experience in
working with the modern server architectures - includes
understanding of GPU, Memory or CPU and methods for failure
analysis, debugging or validation.Experience in managing the team
and leading the large-scale taskforce.Preferred
Qualifications:Master's degree in Electronics is preferred.
Familiar with datacenter environments, including infrastructure,
networking, power distribution, and repair processes and
procedures.Reliability Engineering M5 - The typical base pay range
for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year.
There is a different range applicable to specific work locations,
within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan
area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is
USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.Microsoft has different base pay
ranges for different work locations within the United States, which
allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in
different geographic markets (see below). The range above reflects
the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role (except as
noted below); the applicable base pay range will depend on what
ultimately is determined to be the candidate's primary work
location. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in
addition to primary work location, such as complexity and
responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant
experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically
updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range
applicable at the time.At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for
additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and
stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance.
In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales
incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms
