About the role

We, the Puget Sound Vendor Management Team is currently seeking a Sr. Program Manager for the Redmond, WA area! This individual would be agile, experience with real estate, service delivery, relationships with suppliers, and diving change management. Helping the client improve there approach to service model.

This position is hybrid and would require some days onsite in Redmond, WA.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

What you'll do

• Leads medium to large, cross-functional programs end-to-end using a formal PMO process. Facilitates the development of a charter and timeline. Ensures that all functions remain on schedule and that issues get resolved and that the program is completed successfully.
• Facilitates meetings to review active and pending projects (project pipeline). Collaborates with core team to develop solutions and lead project team(s) through implementation and completion.
• Lead internal and external relationships in support of program(s); may contract and connect with vendors.
• Builds, maintains & distributes routine PMO reports, including status reports and updated Gantt charts.
• Empower and negotiate efficiently with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
• May manage a team responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of projects and programs. Serves as the primary client contact and critical issue point for any staffing, bandwidth or delivery issues.

  EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
  
  Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university. Minimum six years of related experience. Prior Supervisory experience preferred.
  
  CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
  
  PgMP (Program Management Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) certifications preferred.
  
  Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project.
