DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:


  • Responsible for management of a large number of requests with a complex schedule.
  • Responsible for project in assigned field, including scoping, planning & alignment, task allocation, tracking/reporting, and facilitating team progress
  • Collaborates with peers and managers to exchange complex information, setting project priorities and adjusting resource allocations
  • Identifies project risk assessments and provides mitigation plans
  • Ensures deliverables meet service-level agreements for assigned projects
  • Actively engages in collecting and sharing feedback on quality, processes, efficiencies, and customer satisfaction
  • Gathers, analyzes & reports on data for opportunities to optimize workflows and reduce inefficiencies
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive documentation specific to project responsibilities and activities
  • Develops and facilitates localization standards and best practices
  • Responsible for maintaining confidentiality on highly sensitive projects safeguarding corporate content



    SUMMARY OR REQUIREMENTS:


    • Three to five years related experience in Localization project management including vendor management or equivalent
    • Proven experience working in a customer-centric environment
    • Ability to manage translation workloads in areas such as but not limited to: Marketing, quality control, repair of product hardware; consumer service support; information technology
    • Excellent business communication skills in English (and Japanese preferred)
    • Excellent organizational, project management, facilitation, and analytical skills
    • Experience with MS Office, CAT tools, translation management tools, and machine translation post-editing tasks
    • Solid understanding of tagged file formats such as XML/HTML
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly confidential environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines








      ** This is a CONTRACT position


      This contract position has a base pay range of $40 - $60 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits may include medical, dental and vision, 401(k), basic/supplemental life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, health and dependent care spending accounts, transportation benefits, employee assistance program, paid sick leave, and up to 6 paid holidays per year. All benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms. Benefits offerings will be confirmed at the time of offer by the employing agency, and may differ depending on the employing agency partner.
