We make life saving devices for life saving customers. Our systems are some of the more complex systems in the medical device industryAs a systems Engineer, you will provide critical product and project leadership. You will play a role in all aspects of the product lifecycle from Concept through Market Release and Sustaining. During the Concept Phase, you will work to understand stakeholder needs and clinical use and then translate those needs into system and product architecture. During Development, you will be responsible for ensuring the design meets the user needs through requirements identification and requirements decomposition. You will achieve results using a variety of system engineering techniques such as: traceability, architecture, modeling, trade studies, simulation, and budgeting.You will be joining a high-performance team that uses advanced systems engineering techniques. This team is about to embark on a significant expansion in our Model-based Systems Engineering Capability. We will need you to be excited to try new things, share ideas, and push the limits.The best Systems Engineers are driven leaders, excellent communicators, creative problem solvers, domain experts, and can balance multiple competing priorities.

  • You will contribute throughout the full development lifecycle from concept to product release
  • You will provide impact assessment for design changesWhat You Need
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably biomedical, software, electrical, or mechanical) or equivalent experience
    • 4+ years of experience with any of the following: Software, electrical, or mechanical engineering in the medical device industry, or systems engineering in a regulated industry, or Project Management in a regulated industryWhat We Would Love That You Have (Preferred Qualifications)
      • Experience in a variety of projects and skills
      • A natural ability to communicate
      • A natural ability to build interpersonal relationships with their team based on trust
      • A natural ability to influence their peers with strong levels of command and courage
      • Familiarity with ISO 13485 and ISO 14971
      • Familiarity with Object-Oriented Systems Engineering methods and tools
