Washington Permanente Medical Group (WPMG) is a clinician-led, self-governed and independent multi-specialty group practice, providing care to the more than 700,000 Kaiser Permanente patients in Washington state. We work unencumbered by traditional health care obstacles and without silos; prioritizing people over profits, collaboration over ego, and driven by a singular goal: our patients' health. At WPMG, we take care of the whole person, with a team to address the fundamental, social, and emotional needs that contribute to total health. We are clinicians motivated by the desire to make a purposeful difference in the communities we serve, and in how health care is delivered.
Washington Permanente Medical Group, the Pacific Northwest's top-rated multi-specialty group, is currently seeking a BE/BC Internist or BE/BC Family Medicine physician, with experience working in Geriatric and/or Hospice/Palliative medicine, to join our Home Health Hospice team. This is an hourly locum position for backfill coverage. The Home-Based Hospice and Palliative Care service is highly dependent on interprofessional collaboration. The physician will be a key partner in shaping the care model through active participation in interdisciplinary team meetings as well as process and quality improvement opportunities. In addition to fostering a culture of collaboration and a high functioning team within the Hospice-Palliative Care Service, the Hospice-Palliative Medicine physician will be an ambassador within the medical group to promote awareness, knowledge, and skill in delivering palliative and end-of-life care
