Overview
Dental Insurance CoordinatorIssaquah Endodontics &
PeriodonticsIssaquah, WA -We are looking for a motivated and
detail-oriented Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our team! No
prior experience is required-just a passion for organization and
helping others. In this role, you will assist with verifying
insurance coverage, managing claims and pre-authorizations, and
being a key point of contact for patients regarding their insurance
benefits. Your contributions will play an essential role in
ensuring accurate billing and providing a smooth financial
experience for our patients. -Schedule: We offer flexible
scheduling options with multiple shift choices, including
Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday 10-hour shifts, and
Tuesday-Friday 10-hour shifts -
Responsibilities
Verify patient insurance eligibility
and benefits prior to appointmentsSubmit insurance claims and
pre-authorizations in a timely and accurate mannerFollow up on
outstanding claims and resolve denials or discrepanciesEducate
patients on their insurance coverage, co-pays, deductibles, and
financial responsibilitiesCoordinate with the billing team to
ensure proper coding and documentationMaintain accurate patient
insurance records within the practice management systemRespond to
patient and insurance inquiries regarding claims and
coverageCollaborate with front office and clinical teams to ensure
a smooth patient experienceMaintain compliance with HIPAA and other
regulatory guidelinesAssist with billing-related tasks and support
front desk duties as neededPlease note that additional
responsibilities may be assigned
Qualifications
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent1+
years of customer service experience -Preferred Skills
Familiarity with insurance
terminology, claims processes, and EOBsStrong attention to detail
and accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal
skillsProficiency in dental practice management softwareComfortable
with multitasking in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of dental
codes and common insurance plansUnderstanding of HIPAA regulations
