considered for this position.*SCOPE: The Speech Language
Pathologist is responsible for the planning and implementation of
therapy goals for children age birth to eight years old in a clinic
or community based program setting. This includes participating in
a multi-disciplinary team with Physical Therapists, Occupational
Therapists, Mental Health Therapists, Public Health Nurses and
Special Educators monitoring treatment progress, and participating
with team members two times per month at clinical pediatric
meetings.Our Pediatric Therapy Team is hiring a Speech Language

the developing child and support for the family. You will be
working with a team of providers offering multidisciplinary care in
a community that connects with, encourages, and builds
relationships with one another.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIESProvide services to children and families, offering
parent participation during treatment to encourage parent
involvement and trainingMonitor treatment progressEvaluate children
for program qualificationDevelop on-going individualized goals and
progress reportsParticipate with team members on a regular basis
and provide inter-disciplinary consultations with other therapists
as neededComplete written daily treatment notes within a week to
document services renderedMaintain records on each child as
mandated to monitor progressProvide daily insurance billing
information to facilitate timely reimbursementInclude parents in
decision making opportunities at progress report/reassessment
periodsMonitor and track caseload requirements with on-going new
referralsSupervise student internsParticipate in staff
development/training opportunitiesAttend biweekly team
meetingsOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSRequired:Masters
Degree in Speech and Language Pathology with valid Washington State
LicensurePass Washington State DSHS criminal history and background
check and FBI fingerprint check if not in state for more than the
past 3 yearsAbility to work as a member of a
teamPreferred:Bilingual in English and SpanishAt least one year of
pediatric experienceCERTIFICATION AND LICENSESCertificate of
Clinical Competence and ASHA certification or CFY candidate working
toward these certificationsValid Washington Certified Speech
Therapy licensePHYSICAL DEMANDS: This is an active job requiring
lifting of up to 50 lbs, frequently squatting, sitting on the floor
