2-3 years preferred License: Compact License or single state
license acceptable Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: - 2 years of
experience preferred, first-timers accepted - Weekend requirement
Description: The position is for a Labor and Delivery Registered
Nurse. The start date is flexible within the specified duration.
Shifts are nights, with potential for 3x12 or 4x12 hour schedules.
The nurse will provide care to childbearing individuals and
newborns. This includes antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and
newborn care. The facility is a high-risk Level 3 Perinatal center.
Approximately 70% of patients seen are complex high risk. The
facility has a Level 4 NICU which serves as a regional center.
There are approximately 150 births per month. Services include
outpatient care when clinics are closed. The unit has two ORs for
procedures such as C-sections and postpartum D&Cs. A second
labor and delivery RN is available for well, non-compromised
babies. The nurse may float within the hospital. Experience with
EPIC charting is a plus but not required. The facility may adjust
schedules based on census needs. RTO restrictions are limited to a
one-week maximum. All clinicians must comply with background checks
before submission. Two references are required upon submission.
