Primary Care Medical Assistant - Redmond, WA (23525 NE Novelty Hill Road, Ste A111, Redmond, WA 98053) Will accept MA-R or MA-C - Schedule: 4x10s (Mon 7-530, Tuesday 7-530, Wednesday 7-530, & Friday 7-530), No Thursday and NO WEEKENDS - Experience: 6mo REQUIRED; Adult Outpatient Clinic setting is REQUIRED - however open to screening candidates who have strong acute inpatient experience. - First-timers accepted: Yes - Weekend REQ: No - Is on-call REQ? No - Professional Knowledge and Skills REQ: Administration of TB Test, Follow up phone calls, Rooming Patients, Suture Removal, Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests, Telephone Triage, Blood Glucose via Glucometer, Labeling of specimens, Throat, Urine - UA/Clean Catch, Venipuncture - Will this traveler need to float between like units? As Needed Within Skillset (Floating to sister clinics is REQUIRED) - Locals accepted: Yes, considered local within 50-mile radius of clinic - RTO Accepted: Yes, must be presented upon submission. - Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off traveler UP TO 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks) Special Notes - Candidate is expected to have reliable transportation and no additional scheduling restrictions. All travel pairs will be required to have their own transportation. - If the candidate is a good fit, there is the possibility to hire on after the contract ends, depending on availability.
