SilverRide seeks a compassionate and dependable Assisted Transportation Driver to join our team, dedicated to providing specialized transportation services to senior citizens. In this role, you will help our clients maintain their independence by safely escorting them to various appointments and social events, ensuring a supportive and secure travel experience. This position requires not only driving skills but also a profound commitment to the care and well-being of elderly clients. Safely transport senior clients to and from appointments, events, and other destinations. Assist clients with getting in and out of the vehicle and ensure they are secure during transit. Maintain punctuality and manage schedules to meet the timing needs of clients. Provide companionship and conversation during trips to enhance client experience. Keep accurate records of travels and client specifics for reporting purposes. Regularly inspect and maintain the transportation vehicle to ensure safety and cleanliness. Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Patience and a strong sense of responsibility towards elderly care. Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to schedules. Valid driver’s license. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
