Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Seattle, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,273 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Seattle, Washington, 98122! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3-5 years in high acuity and high pace environments preferred License: Current compact license or valid state license required Certifications: BLS, NRP; ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate preferred Must-Have: Current supervisory references required Proof of required certifications with submission Pass clinical review High-risk experience required Ability to circulate and provide newborn care including eye care and vitamin K injections Experience with electronic fetal monitoring required Must be able to handle high-risk deliveries Description: Permanent candidates from other facilities are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least three months. All facilities honor active compact licenses. Candidates with less than 3 years of experience will not be considered. Previous charge experience is required. Candidate should have experience in fast-paced, high-acuity environments. The unit does not accept first-time travelers. Float requirements include postpartum and antepartum. Candidates must work every alternate weekend and cover holidays as needed. Average daily census is 15 patients, with 500-600 deliveries per month. The unit contains 31 rooms and 31 beds. Staffing will follow industry guidelines and prioritize high-risk cases. Interdisciplinary support includes multiple services such as respiratory and pharmacy. Candidates must function in the role of Baby Nurse during delivery and continue care of the newborn until transfer to postpartum. Skills required include: Starting and maintaining IVs, high-risk antepartum, and recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns. Knowledge in anticoagulation therapy, magnesium sulfate therapy, and other high-risk medication protocols is required. Experience with vaginal delivery, cesarean sections, and postpartum care is necessary. Candidates must secure reliable transportation and housing prior to acceptance.
