working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN
in Renton, Washington, 98055! Job Title: Registered Nurse

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 2 years of ICU
experience - EPIC experience within the past 2 years Description:
Unit includes 30 all-private beds, with 2 negative airflow rooms.
Patient ratios are mostly 2:1. Duties may include titrating drips
as prescribed. Common titratable or set rate drips include
Norepinephrine, Vasopressin, Inhalation Epoprostenol, Pressors, and
Sedation. Charge nurse role is without patient assignments and
would not be expected to take on this role. There is a house
supervisor present 24/7. There are no nurse aids on this unit;
however, the unit strives to staff with 2 resource RNs in addition
to the Charge RN. Required equipment includes vents, BiPAP, and
high-flow nasal cannula. Telemetry is available, and RNs should be
able to read strips as there are no monitor techs present. The
scheduling is done on the unit level, and the assistant nurse
manager is open to accommodating traveler scheduling. The RN is
expected to work every other weekend unless additional shifts are
requested. Holiday work is also required based on unit needs. If
census is low, the traveler RN may be expected to be on standby.
Floating to medical/surgical units may be required to ensure full
assignments. The dress code requires royal blue scrubs.
Unit-specific orientation includes training and certification
sessions. All requests for time off must be submitted prior to the
start of the contract. Cancellation policy allows for one shift
cancellation per two-week period. Charting system utilized is EPIC.
BSN is not required. The trauma level for the unit is 3. Care
setting is acute. This is a nursing division position. 5 Benefits
