Experience Description: This is a clerical role assisting the Case
Management Department with authorizations, post-acute referrals,
and delivering Medicaid notices to patients. A clinical background
in acute care is helpful but not required. The schedule is Monday
to Friday from 07:30 to 16:00, with hours potentially flexing to
08:00 to 16:30. The average case load is 18-24 patients, and on
weekends, it can increase to up to 30 patients. The role will
support the clerical needs of the Case Management Department,
including insurance authorizations and coordinating post-acute care
referrals. The position requires experience with Epic charting.
Travelers regularly float between various like units within their
skill set. Candidates must commit to working three of the five
holidays throughout the assignment. References must include a
minimum of two supervisory references covering one year of
employment within a comparable specialty or setting. All travelers
are expected to float. Candidates will not be local to the
facility. No weekends required. RTO restrictions must be included
upon submission. This role does not require a Washington License.
Candidates should notify of any background or licensure issues
during the submission process. Completion of modules, if required,
is self-reported and recorded in transcripts. Providers will be
responsible for submitting monthly bills directly if applicable.
