Speech Language Pathologist Location: Burien, WA Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $2,017 to $2,212 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title Speech Language Pathologist Assistant City/State: Burien, Washington Shift: 8H Days M-F, 9a-5p (willing to flex), occasional weekends Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 06/01/2026 Job Description: The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant will work primarily at St Anne with a potential to float to St Francis and St Joseph. The role involves working in an acute inpatient setting, addressing a variety of general medical diagnoses primarily focused on dysphagia and swallow evaluations. Responsibilities: Treat patients with general medical diagnoses, CVA, end of life, post-op cervical conditions Perform mostly dysphagia and swallow evaluations, with limited cognitive evaluations and treatment Cover ICU, PCU, Tele, Medical, Surgical, ED areas Occasional weekend and holiday shifts as required Requirements: BLS Certification Washington state license required Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) verification Acute inpatient experience required Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Core Mandatory Part III
