other. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Leads, facilitates and/or contributes to HR-related projects
that ensure policies, practices and programs meet standards and
compliance requirements, and are effectively communicated.
- Influences positive outcomes to maintain employee effectiveness
and morale, and mitigates and controls legal risk, while enabling
the business to move forward.
- Consults with HR teams, leaders, and legal counsel to research,
and address employee relations escalations including investigating,
advising, and reporting.
- Acts as a neutral investigator of employee concerns and applies
a balanced perspective. Communicates with and updates leaders and
legal counsel, as appropriate.
- Provides quality, fact-based insights by delivering
independent, objective, and courageous advice to ensure regulatory
compliance.
- Researches, develops, and implements sustainable, culturally
connected compliance solutions that address business needs and
positively impact the employment experience.
- Partners with HR, Legal and business teams to address
employment issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Consults with HRBPs to ensure front line managers have
resources to effectively coach their teams and address
concerns.
- Consults and helps build sustainable solutions to individual
employee challenges.
- Ensures client accountabilities for mandatory training
compliance, annual policy acknowledgements such as updates to the
Employee Handbook and related documents, and consistent application
of progressive discipline.
- Reviews, updates, and delivers HR compliance trainings.
Partners with HR, Legal and external partners to ensure content
reflects the most up to date HR policies, procedures, and
practices.
- Monitors relevant publications for national, state, and local
legislation and regulatory requirements, and works with HR and
Legal to assess the organizational impact and ensure
compliance.
- Follows internal best practices to create and maintain records.
Organizes and conducts periodic audits of HR-related records,
programs, and training content.
- Creates reports and proposals that further enable management to
make key decisions on compliance issues.
- Contributes to the execution of company priorities and the HR
strategy.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Infrequent travel, including domestic and international.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

- Five+ years HR experience in the employee relations field,
including experience conducting investigations. -
- Three years' experience directly building or managing
employment related compliance programs and investigations.
- Demonstrated understanding of key principles of federal, state,
and local employment laws in the United States and Canada,
especially the Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the
Americans with Disabilities Act, and state counterparts.
- Demonstrated understanding of legal compliance and
liability.
- Formal training in functional area or equivalent
experience.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) preferred. This position
includes a base salary range of $100,647 - $150,971 annually,
potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a
comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental,
