Our team develops the management software that runs on the millions of servers underlying the Microsoft Azure cloud. We are building new services that optimize usage with data collected directly from the hardware. We impact Azure business by improving server efficiency, reducing interruptions/downtime, and making future products more competitive. We will collect and analyze new data - directly from hardware - that will improve efficiency, improve hardware health, and influence future node and hardware component definition. In this engineering role, you will sit close to the boundary of software and hardware. You will lead software development that helps answer the multibillion-dollar questions: How are our millions of servers being used? How could they be built better? How could we use them more efficiently? Are they healthy and performing as expected? - The answers to these questions will determine the future of Azure competitiveness and the computing capability we deliver to enrich the lives of everyone on Earth.
