Engineering (ECE) Department at DigiPen Institute of Technology in
Redmond, WA invites applications for adjunct faculty.Detailed
Description:Interest and ability to teach undergraduate electrical
and computer engineering courses and laboratories is essential, and
experience with embedded systems and/or programmable logic is
desirable. An interest in academic research with student
involvement is preferable. Faculty in the department conduct
research with undergraduate students in embedded systems, remote
sensing, and signal processing, which is often incorporated into
student project coursework.DigiPen is a small, private university
in Redmond, WA within the Seattle metro area and one of the most
rapidly developing technology hubs in the world. The Bachelors of
Science in Computer Engineering program is focused on embedded
systems and includes team-based projects in each semester of the
program. As students develop through the program, they have
increasingly more creative control over their projects and are
responsible for component selection, design, system test, and
implementation of their own hardware and/or software system. Design
constraints that are encountered in industry are followed, such as
use model, cost, power, and portability. These projects complement
rigorous coursework in computer science, engineering, mathematics,
and physics. The Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering

Requirements:The successful candidate should have a M.S. (Ph.D.
preferred) in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field
at the time of employment. Expertise within any area of ECE is
welcomed and experience with embedded systems, programmable logic
(e.g., Verilog or VHDL), and/or low level programming is
