Title: Technical Project Manager(5 positions according to different qualifications mentioned below)Location: Redmond WADuration: Full TimeSalary: $120-140K base
Position Description:
Required Experience: Using PMO best practices and standards, partner with the Microsoft product/program managers to facilitate a project management process to fit their needs, and oversee and execute on that process/plan. Create, maintain and control the project schedule and dashboard, facilitate meetings, and proactively identify risks to the project. Shepherd the Project Team through the Release process, being mindful of all requirements. Facilitate program communications, identify and implement continuous improvement practices, and provide regular status reports as required.4-8 years of project management experience, Master's degree preferred, PMI Certification required.Knowledge/background in software industry products/services/applications, with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft's products/services/applications preferred.Must possess strong cross team/group/org collaboration skills; ability to foresee and analyze project risks, develop risk management plan and mitigate subsequent issues.The ideal candidate will have high-powered analytical skills and the ability to understand concepts and situations that pass by many others.Specialized knowledge as defined by project required.Must have excellent communication skills, experience working with external vendors, strong project management skills, and demonstrated success in adult learning and training principles/skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.Qualification 1: Additional skills and experience of value: - Audio technology familiarity - Audio DSP and/or signal processing experience - Audio product management experienceTechnical PM who has experience working with firmware and hardware who will be facilitating and project managing ongoing SSD and memory qualifications with external suppliers.Experience with SSD and memory qualification as a PM is strongly desired. Qualification 2: Strong Technical Product Management Experience and ability to write functional specs and tight user experience to business goals. Experience preferably in Display/Graphics domain building both SW/HW features in consumer electronics (embedded, mobile, desktop). Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple disciplines and functions (PM, Sw Devs, Test, Hardware Engineers, etc.) - Ability to work well under pressure and to prioritize workloads . Some knowledge of driver stack (Windows, Android, Linux or embbeded) - Demonstrated track record of leading product teams to ship at scale products . Experience with working with manufacture / ODM is a plus - A BS in computer science or a related engineering field is preferred with relevant years of experience in a technical embedded system engineering space. Qualification 3: Strong Technical Product Management Experience and ability to write functional specs and tight user experience to business goals.
