Microsoft's Cloud Operations and Innovation Organization (CO+I) is looking for an Principial Energy Technology Program Manager to manage the process of commercializing new energy technology in Microsoft's datacenters. This person will work closely with researchers and engineers to scope and manage the program to ensure new technology meets program goals, integrates with the rest of the datacenter infrastructure and meets datacenter requirements for reliability. The successful candidate will have a background in datacenter cooling and power systems and experience in product management, program management, and stakeholder management. The goals for this role will be measured based on the time required to get from idea to commercialization or the first deployment in the datacenter, as well as the quality of the final product.Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO&I) is the team behind the cloud. Within CO&I, the Datacenter Engineering (DCE) team is responsible for delivering core datacenter infrastructure for Microsoft's cloud business. The MS portfolio consists of complex, multi-disciplinary, large scale, multi-year datacenter construction projects.
