talent in software engineering. As a Lead Software Engineer you
will come with experience developing game content, leading game
development projects, assisting with the direction of projects, and
have managed small to large groups of software engineers. If this

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Develops, writes clear, maintainable and portable code, and debugs
using the relevant programming languages for game content
creation.
Manages a small group of engineers within the Engineering
department.
May take engineering lead role in a project, as well as assist with
overall direction of the project, while working with minimal
supervision.
Recommends and determines time, budget and software functionality
trade-offs.
Makes recommendations regarding system architectural design, data
structures, and algorithm development.
Reviews and optimizes other engineers' code.
Provides effective solutions by applying advanced programming
skills and knowledge.
Provides technical documentation and explanations intended for
distribution to other groups (internal and external).
Works with direct supervisors to help determine direction of the
Engineering department to achieve long-term goals for the
company.
Mentors less experienced members of the team.
Applies professional expertise to review, analyze and test products
under development as a contributing member of a production team to
ensure delivery of Nintendo's high standard of quality and
timeliness.
Participates in company-wide activities such as product review,
analysis and testing as required.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
This position includes a base salary range of $150,530 - $225,796
annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance
bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical,
