Since its 2017 public launch, Amazon Connect has become an AI

their customers. Amazon Connect is seeking an SDM to drive our next
phase of innovation in forecasting, capacity planning, and agent
scheduling, creating toolsets to help customers automate schedule
management for their large agent forces, while optimizing agent
efficiency, performance, improving agent experiences. The Role: As
an SDM for Forecasting, Capacity Planning, and Agent Scheduling,
you'll lead a high-impact software engineering team driving
Connect's workforce management product. You'll help businesses to
get the most out of their workforces, by automating and optimizing
agent schedules. Key job responsibilities - Drive technical
strategy, design, development, deployment, and operations for new
and existing AWS services working alongside Amazon Connect. - Lead
and mentor multiple software engineers. - Collaborate with senior
leadership and cross-functional teams to define product vision,
roadmap, and create impactful solutions. - Build and grow
high-performing teams. - Drive architectural decisions for
large-scale, highly available cloud services. - Ensure operational
excellence and compliance with industry standards. - Manage
multiple concurrent programs and projects in an intrapreneurial
environment. - Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and

organizations face today through innovative use of cloud and AI

professional. - 3 years of engineering team management experience -
7 years of engineering experience - Knowledge of engineering
practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks
development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews,
source control management, build processes, testing, certification,
and livesite operations - 5 years of leading the definition and
development of multi tier web services experience - Experience
partnering with product or program management teams - Experience in
communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior
leadership to collect requirements, describe software product
features, technical designs, and product strategy - Experience in
recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of
Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
