qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical
experience. 8 years of experience programming in C++. 5 years of
experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching
software products. Experience with reliability and business
intelligence. Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree or PhD in
Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. 8
years of experience with data structures and algorithms. 5 years of
experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and
setting technical direction. 3 years of experience working in a
complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or
cross-business projects. Experience with data warehousing and

you will serve as a technical lead within Looker, Google Cloud
Platform (GCP's) Business Intelligence (BI) offering. As a part of
this team, you will wok with a product that provides semantic
modeling, visualizations and dashboarding, the ability to embed
these into standalone applications, and other key BI capabilities,
making it a keystone product within GCP's Data Analytic's portfolio
as Looker has several opportunities and long-term challenges to
overcome in the next few years and needs experienced leaders. In
this role, you will be helping Looker improve it's reliability and

range for this full-time position is $262,000-$365,000 bonus equity
benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and
location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work
location and additional factors, including job-related skills,
experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can

leadership on high-impact projects. Mentor and coach a distributed
team of engineers. Contribute with scope across several project
areas in Looker, with a focus on improving reliability and
operational excellence (debuggability, monitoring, and so on). Lead
projects and contribute to codebase, while also growing and
influencing the Looker engineering team as a whole. Shape the
strategic direction for the organization by working closely with
Product Manager on defining product direction.
