What You Will Be Doing

Working closely with software development teams toimplementsecurity into everything we build in thedevelopmentprocess.Constantly evaluate new tools to improvesecurity in ourcode and products with an ability to build solutionswhenoff-the-shelf software is not available or viable.Performsecurityreviews of detailed engineering specifications andtechnical designdocuments.Manage security engineering projects fromstart to endwith a variety of stakeholders across theorganization.Triagesecurity issues and provide recommended fixes.This also includesreviewing and responding to new securitythreats.

What You Need for this Position

5+ years of related security work in a customer facing productorservice.10+ years of software development orinfrastructureengineering experience.Experience building, testing,and deployingcode in a CI/CD pipeline (Git, Jenkins,Maven).Experience managingprojects with a variety of stakeholdersin the organization as wellas owning the execution.Broad exposureto various securitydisciplines and deep understanding of modelsbehind core securityconcepts such as data encryption, managingsecrets, andvulnerability management.Proficiency both in apractical systemsprogramming language and the shell of your choice.We write in Go,Python, and Shell.Able to efficiently collect,analyze, and parseseveral TB of logs across a variety of systems toidentify threats,problems, or security anomalies.We seek acandidate eager to workacross the company as we further our companyvalues ofcollaboration and trust with other teams. As a securityandoperations team, we are actively aligned and working with therestof engineering.Working in agile teams or startup environmentwithstrong customer focus.
