The Avionics Technician will be part of the development team
developing Project Kuiper's electronics systems. Successful
candidates will have strong experience in technology development,
and manufacturing of electronics and mechatronics systems. You
should be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity and relish
the idea of solving problems that haven't been solved at scale

Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations,
candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent
resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted
into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
- 5+ years experience PCBA modification, cable harness
fabrication, and test of prototype hardware for aerospace,
consumer, automotive, or networking infrastructure 2+ years
experience with PCBA rework including fine, hand soldering of
electronic components and following schematics 2+ years experience
with common electronics test equipment (oscilloscopes, power
supplies, function generators, etc.) 2+ years experience sourcing
lab supplies and components
- Degree or certificate in related field Experience managing
external partners for PCB manufacturing Proven track record of
delivering results on time. Experience in development of space
based systems. Experience working in aerospace manufacturing.
Well-developed communication skills with the ability to review and
develop written instructions; document work performed, and follow
up with engineers and management as required.
