NCS has an immediate opening on our Exchange Tier 3 Escalation Team in Redmond, WA. Team members provide top-tier Exchange support for a large corporate customer in a dynamic, yet collaborative environment.As a member of this team, you would serve as a final escalation point for Exchange issues in an environment of over 200,000 end users. You would be part of a team that specializes in troubleshooting wide-scale service issues, identifying product bugs, and driving resolution with the associated product teams. Essential Functions & Duties Include:

  • Perform Tier 3 support functions for Exchange On-Premises and Office 365 Exchange Online.
    • Create and execute PowerShell scripts to facilitate bulk changes, audits, or collect data for reporting.
      • Develop technical documentation for the Tier III Team, end users and lower tier support teams.
        • Drive process improvements within the team and the larger organization as a whole
          • Manage and execute project-based work with an attention to detail while meeting tight deadlines.
            • Problem Management - Excellent problem-solving skills and root cause analysis.
              • Maintain ownership of issues drive to resolution across multiple support teams.
                • Incident Management - Provide White Glove service to Executive and upper management.
                  • Request Fulfillment - Manage requests and facilitate changes in Exchange via PowerShell.
                    • Identify key areas of investment to improve overall service level, reliability and operational efficiency.Skills and Qualifications:
                      • 2+ years administering Exchange 2019/2016, Active Directory and Windows Server.
                        • Good understanding of network troubleshooting.
                          • Must have strong knowledge of Windows Server OS and its functions.
                            • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential along with Technical writing skills.
                              • Capable of learning and adapting quickly as services and processes change.
                                • Driven to develop new skills and learn about latest technologies.
                                  • Resourceful, self-motivated and detail oriented.
                                    • Able to work independently as well as within a team.
                                      • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
                                        • Understanding of - Active Directory, Wired/Wireless Networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, VLANs, Server Hardware & Administration, Office 365, Exchange, PowerShell and SQL.
                                          • Experience with - MX, SPF, DKIM/DMARC, Transport, Migration and other Exchange components.Preferred:
                                            • Proficient with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration of servers and services.
                                              • Prior experience working with Exchange Server and Users in a corporate/enterprise environment.
                                                • Prior experience working with Office 365 Administration and/or certification.
