The ability to draw insights from a deep understanding of the cloud HW Infrastructure landscape and industry trends is critical in informing the roadmap and planning decisions.--- -We are looking for a---Principal---Hardware---Engineering---Program Manager---to join our team, who---will play a key role in---driving---the -roadmap for the hardware infrastructure that---powers---the Microsoft Cloud.---You will be responsible for managing and driving---critical---HW programs end to end.---We immensely value culture, mentorship, and acting as a unified team. This is an opportunity to leverage and grow your existing---program---management experience in an innovative and highly collaborative environment where the results of your work will matter to Microsoft and Microsoft's customers--- -Join our HSP team and be part of the world's fastest growing cloud service!--- -ResponsibilitiesCollaborate---and drive efforts across multiple engineering---groups within Microsoft; success will be through developing---and putting in place processes and methods that bring about efficient collaboration -and decision making---within Microsoft and Azure.------In addition, as a PM you'll need to have both excellent management & people skills paired with technical depth & passion.--- -Drive technical projects from requirements through launch, including managing complex project schedules, removing roadblocks,---and keeping processes running smoothly.------ -Work with---hardware---architects,---engineering,---and business---teams---to develop---and drive---end to end program development.------ -Partner closely with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and implement features, infrastructure, processes, and workflows.--- -Create and operationalize processes to transform the effectiveness of the organization---with respect to meeting business goals. Coach, enable,---and grow Program Managers---within the team and our partners.------ -Responsible for effective communication and escalation of risks and dependencies while ensuring timely decisions are being made.--- -Scopes technical and business problems and processes by identifying key issues, inputs, stakeholders, and outcomes.--- -Be comfortable interacting with senior management, highlighting risks---across functional teams---and providing recommendations to support product level decisions.--- -Operate effectively in ambiguity. Apply process where it creates value, and design process where it's needed. Recognize the situations where each approach is most appropriate.--- -Ensuring cross functional alignment:---generating clarity, tracking towards release milestones and overall readiness for all new Data Center infrastructure deployments.--- -QualificationsRequired -qualifications -Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical,---computer---engineering, or associated engineering fields------ -7+ years of technical product management experience, including products within datacenter HW systems and/or Cloud infrastructure.--- -7+---years experience---creating product roadmap(s) from conception to launch, driving end-to-end program execution, defining product go-to-market strategy, and leading program direction discussions.--- -Preferred Qualifications: -Experience in program management fundamentals including presentation skills and written communication; ability to build relationships and influence in a matrix organization; manager cross team deliverables including program costs, schedules, -risks -and issues mitigation. -Understanding and passion for program management, establishing process and framework for large scale collaboration------ -Experience leading teams in silicon, HW systems & SW ecosystem setup within technical contexts--- -Proven capabilities to---multi-task---and---drive positive business results.--- -Knowledge of server technology and associated commodities is a plus but not required.--- -Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
