A key contributor to the Americas Talent Acquisition team responsible for effectively executing searches by partnering with Hiring Managers to generate a variety of recruiting strategies including but not limited to sourcing, screening, leveraging social media and sharing best practices to attract top talent to Medtronic. - - - - - -A Day In The LifePartners with management to develop job specifications/requirements, competencies, make salary recommendations and negotiate starting salary with candidates.Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral.Sources candidates, manages workforce demands and develops networks to ensure constant flow of qualified candidates using various tools such as social media, career fairs, agencies and recruiting contractors.Phone screens and conducts interviews to recruit prospective employees.Manages applicant tracking system and creates reports and metrics analysis.May prepare applicant assessments, provide applicants with information on the company, oversees background checks and drug testing, check references and ensure successful hiring and on-boarding process.Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR)Participate in and attend job fairs, campus recruiting and networking events as a means to building relationships with candidates and create a strong pipeline for future hires.Lead Early Career programInvolved in various TA strategic project initiatives -Must HavesBachelor's degreeMinimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition with a Bachelor's degree, no minimum years of experience with an advanced degreeBilingual English and French requiredNice to HavesKnowledge of -Talent Acquisition hiring practices including but not limited to sourcing, screening, interviewing, cold calling, data mining of the internet, excellent candidate care - Advanced degree focused on Human Resources Management or Organizational Psychology preferred - - - - - - - -2 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition focused on developing networks of qualified candidates through social media, career fairs and university hiring - - - -Proficiency in Candidate tracking technology, metric reporting and adheres to compliance guidelines and Standard TA operating procedures -Lead and collaborateon TA projects/reports Able to work in a fast pace environment - - -Knowledgeable in Taleo Able to handle large complex projects with minimal supervision,Proficient in recruiting for senior level roles i.e Manager and Director level - -Excellent verbal and written skillsGenerate reports of recruitment activity on a routine basis Established and productive individual contributor, Able to work independently with general supervision on larger moderately complex projects and assignmentsPhysical Job RequirementsThe physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
