Job Description
**In person work will be required in Redmond, WA. We are set up to
work remotely but not 100% of the time.
Position Overview: The Client Service Associate is responsible for
the day-to-day servicing of clients and account maintenance,
serving as a key contact person for all account-related client
requests.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Initiate and field client service calls.
- Prepare and process all paperwork for client transactions,
including but not limited to opening new accounts, closing
accounts, transferring assets, deposits, withdrawals, account title
changes, address changes, etc.; communicate status of transactions
to clients and Advisors (e.g., when assets have transferred, when
deposits are received, etc.).
- Provide ongoing client account maintenance (e.g., all money
requests, checks, wires, ACHs, regular periodic transfers, transfer
of securities amongst accounts, special accounts, ongoing special
client instructions, etc.).
- Check custodian alerts daily and perform appropriate
actions.
- Set up and generate client reports.
- Research required minimum distributions (RMDs) and provide
information to Advisor to help with processing the trades.
- Assist with trade tickets.
- Assemble reports for scope preps.
- Collaborate with Advisors for proper client onboarding, with
duties including client education (e.g., online account access) and
proper account set up.
- Assist with client meeting prep including assembling reports
and required paperwork.
- Complete gap analysis for each client as meetings arise to
match up their current services received to what they should be
getting for their service level, review this information with
Client Advisors and come up with a game plan going forward.
- Attend client meetings and calls as requested.
- Assist with client meeting follow-up tasks.
- Maintain complete and accurate client profiles, meeting notes,
and other records in the CRM.
- Assist with special projects as needed. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferably in business, accounting, finance,
economics or related experience.
- 5+ year of experience in client service and/or operations in
the financial services industry (preferably with an independent
registered investment advisory firm).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (required); experience with
CRM, document management, and portfolio accounting software
(preferred) Other Skills & Experience
