Job OverviewThe Internal Communications team is looking for two
Specialist, Communications: one to support the Missile Solutions
and Space Propulsion & Power Systems sectors and one to support the
Segment Functions and Sites. Reporting to the Director, Internal
Communications - Aerojet Rocketdyne, the incumbent will support
employee and executive communications with focus on improving
culture and employee engagement. This involves partnering with
executive business leaders to develop, implement, and drive annual
communication plans at the sector, functional, and site levels.The
incumbent is expected to work at an Aerojet Rocketdyne location on
a hybrid work schedule.This role requires a strategic communicator
with the ability to effectively engage with executive leaders, help
shape their cultural and engagement actions, develop creative
communications solutions, support organizational communications
needs, and deliver compelling, high-quality communications
products. This highly organized leader will manage multiple
projects and deadlines seamlessly and possess a deep commitment to
fostering an equitable, inclusive team culture. This position may

- Lead communications efforts in enabling segment priorities,
including transformation objectives.
- Works closely with executive and HR leaders to develop and
direct integrated communications strategies that engage L3Harris
employees and support cross-functional corporate initiatives.
- Builds and executes a sector-level communications strategy,
inclusive of the employee experience, for the sector president,
supporting communication tactics such as speeches, webcasts, town
halls, written communications, videos, social media and community
relations activities.
- Supports employee engagement, change management, and issue
management.
- Builds partnerships with key internal stakeholders,
collaborating across teams and locations to share information,
robust communications standard work, and best practices.
- Employs the latest communications tools and analytics to
maximize audience engagement and reach through multi-channel
(intranet, email, digital, social, etc.) communications methods.
Measures effectiveness and adjusts strategy as
necessary.RequirementsQualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant
experience OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior
related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of
prior related experience.Preferred Additional Skills:
- Exceptional written, verbal, creative and visual communications
skills.
- Ability to strategize, plan and execute on multiple
time-sensitive projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal
direction.
- Own major end-to-end processes and events on a project, take
initiative, and use problem solving skills.
- Effective team player with proven success building
relationships and collaboration across business functions and
departments.
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives.
- Natural communicator with the ability to engage and influence
leaders and teams at every level of the business.
- Highly effective writing style and expertise in using a variety
of styles, to a variety of audiences.
- Possesses a keen understanding of best practice communication
channels and methodology.Requires U.S. Citizenship or status as a
U.S. Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government
requirements for access to government information, and having dual
