Job Description:
The Clinical Laboratory Scientist role involves performing
standardized biological and biochemical tests on blood, urine,
tissue, and body fluids using various instruments and Laboratory
Information Systems. Responsibilities include following SOPs,
maintaining equipment, troubleshooting, conducting quality control,
evaluating test results, and ensuring specimen integrity. The
candidate must demonstrate technical proficiency, participate in
staff training, and generate accurate reports. Requirements include
a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field, NYS
licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Limited Permit,
and at least two years of relevant experience in testing, equipment
maintenance, record keeping, and report drafting. The position
offers an annual salary range of $60,450 to $93,405, full-time
schedule, with 7.5-hour shifts.
