experience): $59.58 - $92.17 . Job Summary Community development is
a key accountability for this position, as it serves a pivotal
outward-facing role responsible for articulating Summit Pacific’s
narrative and vision, managing media relations, and forging deep,
strategic partnerships with local leaders, business stakeholders,
and community organizations. Acts as an ambassador for Summit’s
mission and vision to transform rural healthcare. Directly advances
Summit Pacific’s strategic plan by increasing regional awareness
and strengthening relationships with elected officials including
but not limited to mayors, city council, and county commissioners.
Drives regional economic development plans informed by community
health needs, and fosters community health initiatives with an
emphasis on improving wellness for local youth. Implements a
comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that enhances
the Summit Pacific brand and supports its mission, vision, and
objectives. Manages and leads team members to effectively execute
marketing, public relations, internal communications, events, and
community programs. Provides leadership and development to team
members. Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities *Serves as the
“face” of Summit Pacific on behalf of executives as appropriate
while acting as the primary spokesperson and brand ambassador for
Summit Pacific in media and public relations. *Proactively develops
and implements public relations strategies to highlight
organizational achievements, new services, expansion projects and
quality of care. *Establishes and maintains strong, positive
rapport with local, regional, and specialized media outlets.
*Represents Summit Pacific at city council, county commission and
chamber of commerce meetings as requested, and presents updates on
behalf of Summit Pacific. *Acts as a community partner to convene,
collaborate, and build relationships with partners including city
administrators, mayors, county officials, non-profits, vendors, key
stakeholders and local businesses. Represents Summit Pacific at
official events and speaks frequently with government
representatives, media contacts, and community members. *Aligns
Summit Pacific’s strategic goals with community health needs to
drive regional economic development. Acts as a liaison between
Summit Pacific and a range of external stakeholders. *Represents
Summit Pacific on local boards and committees to foster regional
cooperation and health enhancement. *Cultivates partnerships to
increase access to services, drive business initiatives and develop
activities that promote health and wellness for local youth to
improve multi-factor youth wellbeing. *Develops and executes a
comprehensive marketing and communications plan for Summit Pacific
that aligns with the strategic plan. *Oversees digital marketing,
social media presence, website updates, advertising, press
releases, newsletters and internal communications. *Directs the
creation of all marketing materials (print, video, digital).
Manages the reputation and brand of Summit Pacific across multiple
platforms. *Provides supervision and guidance for community
outreach, education and events. *Participates in professional
groups/associations. Participates in or leads work groups, projects
and committees as assigned. *Performs special projects and other

Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree from an
accredited college or university with major course work in
marketing, communications, business administration, or a related
field. Master’s degree preferred. Three years of related
professional-level experience. Healthcare experience preferred.
Required Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations American
Marketing Association (AMA), Professional Certified Marketer (PCM)
or equivalent certification preferred. Required Knowledge, Skills,
Abilities Broad working knowledge and understanding of
communications, marketing and advertising methods and tools. Broad
working knowledge of community outreach programs. Ability to apply
concepts to actual situations in a practical manner and to guide
others accordingly. Ability to think strategically and
conceptually.Ability to develop focused tactics and implement
actions as needed to accomplish organizational objectives. Working
knowledge of and experience with various social media outlets
including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, as well as mass email
dissemination software. Demonstrated project planning and
management skills. Experience developing and implementing
successful marketing/communication projects and campaigns. Advanced
writing, editing, and graphic design skills. Ability to write and
develop professional marketing and advertising materials including
articles, press releases, brochures, and web pages. Superior verbal
communication and professional presentation skills including the
ability to publicly articulate the position and agenda of Summit
Pacific and be comfortable presenting to both small and large
crowds. Ability to cultivate effective relationships and work in
collaboration with a variety of internal and external
customers/partners/vendors. Strong leadership, facilitation,
delegation, and coaching skills. Demonstrated ability to lead
through influence. Ability to maintain composure and
professionalism in sensitive or stressful situations; ability to
maintain strict confidentiality. Fully proficient in the use of
current technology, including Microsoft Office products. Ability to
