Job Description:
If you are seeking an exciting Quality Technician position for a
company which is a pioneer in MEMS-based laser beam scanning
technology-integrating optics, and hardware this role could be for
you!The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring
consistent, high-quality products through inspecting incoming, in
process, and finished goods in a timely manner. They coordinate any
potential impacts to production and instigate improvement
activities by communicating non-conforming circumstances to
management.The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for
detail and will be reliable and committed. In depth knowledge and
comprehension of quality standards is essential. The selected
candidate will have frequent interaction with production to ensure
company standards for product quality are adhered to and timelines
for production are kept. Maintains records in an orderly and easily
retrievable manner. Performs detailed quality checks at incoming
inspection, in process quality checks and outgoing quality
inspection.Documents and records inspection results, and provides
feedback to leadership. Manage calibration of in-house equipment,
and should have some experience maintaining calibration records as
well as working with outside sources to (re-)calibrate measurement
equipment. Assists other areas and employees when primary work is
done. Other duties as assignedQuality Assurance Technician
candidates should possess the following requirements:The ideal
candidate should have experience with the following inspection
tools: Keyence VR-5000 or other 3D optical profilometer, Gauge
Pins, Calipers, LCR Meter, Oscilloscope, 4 probe multimeter, and
Audio Precision Software.HS diploma or GED. Preferred (3 to 5
years) experience in Quality Assurance in a manufacturing
environment. Has critical eye for quality. Attention to detail and
organization of tasks and workloads. Must be able to identify small
defects. Team player that takes responsibility yet thrives in a
team environment. Able to efficiently work in a fast-paced
setting.Strong problem-solving skills. Willingness and ability to
learn quickly. Ability to effectively communicate with others (both
written and verbal). Proficiency in MS Office Suite. This position
